It could have been doing more than just looking. I remember seeing a documentary some time ago now, where plants were wired up to instruments that could measure minute (macro? micro?) electrical currents. The series of tests that followed seemed to suggest a correlation between the current generated by the plant, and the external circumstances. One just never knows! My indoor plants do like classical music though! 🙂
